Printing from a Mac or iOS device
You must be connected to either the "public" OR "crossroads" wifi network to print to school printers.
Printing from a Mac:
NOTE: If you are printing from the Chrome browser on a Mac, we recommend you click "Print using system dialog" AFTER you have done the other steps below.
1. Open Systems Preferences -> Printers and click Add. The printer browser will show a bunch of printers, looking something like the screenshot below. Find the one you want that has "@airprintserver" in the name, like the ones with red arrows below.
2. Select the print options etc. that you want and click Add. Then you can use it for printing. Later, if it doesn't work, remove it with the minus sign button, then add it again.
Printing from an iPad or iPhone:
1. Tap the upload/share/print icon from within the app you're trying to print from, and tap Select Printer.
2. Wait a few seconds for the printers to appear, then tap the one you wish to use.
Note to fellow techs: If there are no printers @inventory or @airprintserver showing up in the browser, (re)start the Mac Mini server (little square box on top of main server in Klee basement, power button on right rear corner, server should show tiny white light on front right corner when powered on.) See the Airprint section of this page for more back-end details.
