Printing from Windows 10
Last updated January 28, 2020
You must be connected to either the "public" OR "crossroads" wifi network to print to school printers.
1. Press the Windows key and the R key at the same time to bring up the "run" prompt, and type or paste exactly
\\ca-2016-srv
(then press return)
2. When prompted, enter your AD credentials (username = first initial, last name; staff password = noun+number assigned when you were hired; student password = your 5-digit ID number.) If you do not know your ID number, ask your teacher, or send an email to helpdesk@crossroadsacademy.org
3. You should see a listing of folders and printers. Double-click the printer you wish to use; there may be a delay as it downloads driver software etc. but once it finishes you should be able to print to that printer without a password from then on. Repeat for each printer you intend to use.
